Knapsack Trip Follow the knapsack as forum members tour all 50 states Members of the old forum decided to carry a special knapsack on a 50-state tour and possibly to other places as well. The knapsack contains a log book for diary entries as riders carry out their part of the tour. This article contains a running commentary that defines where the knapsack is on its journey. Each rider will also be taking pictures showing the knapsack at various locations along the route. Each rider is responsible for making a contact with the next rider and handing off the knapsack to that individual. Contacts were made using posts on the old Motorcycles Forum. Since the original knapsack (called Knappy #1 or Green Nappy) began its travels, two other knapsacks have been started up, Knappy #2 or Black/Red Nappy or Vinnie's Nappy, and Knappy #3 or OB-1 (Orange and Blue) Nappy. Here is the chronological listing of events so far with the latest events listed at the top.
