Magazine Articles:
MCN -- February 2007, page 16 -- BMW R1200R: New Hotrod Hexhead Roadster
"At the front of the Roadster is BMW's proprietary Telelever fork, which negates front-end dive under braking and its effect on steering geometry. At the rear is the new generation EVO Paralever with linkage geometry that eliminates the need for a splined driveshaft and its maintenance bothers. The Paralever design also eliminates the torque-induced rise and fall of the rear end during acceleration and deceleration, characteristic of an uncontrolled drive shaft. Following an initial 600-mile oil change, the final drive gear oil never needs to be touched again for the life of the bike." -- Gary Prickett, Contributor
