For that plastic bag that blew up off the road onto those hot pipes and melted, heat the pipes up and use a nickel to rub the plastic right off the pipe.

The nickel is softer than the chrome pipe and won't scratch or damage your pipes. I tried oven cleaner, chrome polish and then someone gave me this tip. Worked wonderfully.
