Motorcycle Tip - Washing Your Motorcycle

Here's a Motorcycle Tip from visitor, Moldy.

To wash my bike (2000 Wideglide) I use a parts washer gun on my compressor.

I use truckwash detergent with hot water on a fairly low pressure, spray the whole bike and leave it for a few minutes (long enough to have a smoke!).

Then rinse it off with plenty of warm water and then use the air nozzle to blow away the excess water, wipe off any streaks with a chamois and the job's done.

It's quick, easy and you get into all the "hard-to-reach-bits." It works for me!.
