I ride a pearl white 2005 Honda Shadow 600 VLX Deluxe, I call "Legend." I learned to ride last May through a driving school. I got my license and then took the beginners MSF course for added confidence.
I love the VLX 600 and felt completely secure on it when I rode to Monticello, NY from my home in Brooklyn one weekend in July. The round-trip was about 250 miles and my first solo ride. It was awesome, I loved the highway riding, the country roads and the twisties.
Now I've joined the Southern Cruisers Riding Club's NYC chapter and will enjoy their group rides and charity runs from now through fall.
