Women on Motorcycles Pictures - 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom

By Walter F. Kern

Women on Motorcycles Picture of a 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom

This is me (Lil Lady) on my 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom. I paid $4000 cash for it. It had 7000 miles on it. Spruced my baby up. Previous owner obviously didn't care for the bike. This is my first Harley and first time I'd ridden a bike this size. After numerous times of tipping over, bloody knees and dislocating a couple of ribs, I had the bike professionally lowered to fit my 5'-3" frame. I was determined I was going to ride the wind. I had the detachable windshield cut down. I switched out the stock seat for a single Mustang seat. I personally added all the extra chrome. I got oil and battery covers and changed the Harley logo on the tank. I added the tank and rear fender bibs, engine guard and chrome Willie G theme throughout. I also wired it for external power that runs from the battery up under the gas tank to the front windshield bag. -- Laurie King
