Motorcycle User Reviews - 2002 Kawasaki Drifter 800

I love my Drifter (Indian) and have been offered 2000 more than I got it for. I wouldn't sell it though because if I did, I wouldn't be able to find another one as pretty. I would recommend this bike because it is a LOOKER and the price is right. I could get 2-4 of these bikes instead of one Harley. Give me a break! My bike turns more heads than a Harley and is much, much prettier.

The things that I don't like would be:

  • The dealer tune-up at 7K is $1000
  • Needed a tune-up at 7K because of backfiring.
  • Not easy to find upgrades and seat is only for one.

Other than those small problems, I would really recommend this bike. For looks, style, and price you can't go wrong.

You can barely find any of these for sale. I think the resale will stay good because it is a replica.

Good LUCK with your bike and be careful. It isn't you but other drivers that are crazy! -- schleinee
