Motorcycle User Reviews - 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500

Bought this Kawasaki new. Have owned nothing but Kawasaki: F-7, H-1B, Z-1B, KZ750 E5 and now this VN1500E. They have been the most dependable and fun vehicles I've ever owned.

My longest trip on my 1500 was 800 miles/14 hours non-stop. I arrived tired and a bit sore, but you would be the same way in a car. The bike is big, smooth, powerful, handles well and is a pleasure to tour on.

Even 2-up touring is good, with a better shock and a few more stops. But solo, the 1500 classic is a pleasure to operate, confident in the turns and responsive to the throttle.

And at less than $8,500 brand new, is the best deal in cruisers available. Milwaukee can't touch it. -- CD Anderson
