Motorcycle User Reviews - 2008 Roketa 150CC

I purchased a 2008 Roketa 150cc with a Lifan engine. It was delivered to my door without a scratch and so far it has performed better than any cycle I have owned to date and that includes cycles with much higher horsepower and cc configurations.

These bikes are great for errand shopping and getting around town. The Chinese are putting out a very nice product for the money.

I would highly recommend the purchase of one over any of the much racier priced bikes. Oh yes, you can modify these bikes and have them hit top speeds of 80-95 mph which is rare in the scooter world.

If anyone has any questions about the Roketa 150cc or any maintenance issues let me know. Parts are all over the net and many if not all are interchangeable with Yamaha or Honda parts. Take Care. -- Joe

I spent just under $2K for the flagship 2008 Roketa 150cc motor scooter (although they do make a 250cc version now).

I ride it very little -- just a quick errand vehicle and not much more than that.

But my first 100 miles have been flawless, other than a leaky tire valve that just needed a tweak with a screwdriver.

It starts, runs, and rides nicely. So far, so good. -- Adam
