Motorcycle User Reviews - 2008 Victory Vegas Low

Motorcycle picture of a 2008 Victory Vegas Low

I bought my 2008 Victory Vegas Low last fall. 100 cubic inches of growling torque and face-stretching acceleration!

The bike has over 3500 miles on it without a single issue.

I had the full stage one done prior to taking delivery and had them add the Arlen Ness Slashness exhaust. Awesome throaty sound.

I had to change the seat when I got it home because the machine has so much torque, it will toss you off the back if you accelerate too hard.

Besides the powerful engine on the the bike, the styling always draws positive commentary, even from Harley riders. Because it is an American ride, I think they accept it more freely than a foreign manufactured ride. I'm not a bike snob, two wheels that get you from point A to point B work for me (a former Honda rider - loved it).

The ride position is also a plus. Upright with pullback bars equals all day comfort.

I have added a few things: Kuryakyn ISO Wing pegs, a chin spoiler to protect the starter and master cylinder and the new Victory Raven seat (looks and feels like a Corbin Gunfighter). All these add up to a sweet ride.

The dealer (Shark Cycles in CT) was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Gave me a great trade in and discounted the bike to make the sale. Outstanding!

To all those considering a Victory - DO NOT HESITATE, BUY IT! Good luck and keep the shiny side up. -- Jim
