Mid Michigan BMW Touring Club #53: Our club was founded in 1973 and chartered with
BMW Motorcycle Owners of America (BMWMOA) in 1974. The Mid Mich BMW Touring
Club is a club that has diversified itself to serve the needs of the
Membership. The Club is the only Chartered BMW Club listed with the United
Sidecar Association as a Sidecar organization. The Club accepts members who
ride all makes of bikes. All the club asks, that you be a Motorcyclist
first and enjoy riding. The heart of the Club is still the dedicated BMW
rider. The soul of the Club is those members who restore and ride classic
BMW's from the sixties and seventies with or with out sidecars. We have
also been referred to as the "Live to ride and Ride to eat Bunch". -- Mark West
