Magazine Articles:
Cycle World -- April 2005, page 50 -- Harley Street Rod
"On the freeway, the Street Rod is largely a delight. The riding position is extremely livable, the engine smooth and torquey, and the range allowed by the expanded gas tank reasonable, a good thing as at 30 mpg, the Rod's fuel economy is noticably worse than for Harley's and Buell's air-cooled models." -- Steve Anderson, Contributing Editor
MCN -- May 2005, page 12 -- 2006 H-D VRSCR Street Rod
"When first throwing a leg over the Street Rod, the bike gives the sensation that you're sitting on the bike, not in it, but it's not so extreme a feeling as you have on a Sportster. The seat initially feels hard, but the foam is fairly deep. However, after an hour, the shape of the seat pan becomes apparent, and it's boxy under the upholstery. Frequent rest stops are in order. Also, without wind protection, at speeds above 75 mph the wind blast is fatiguing as well." -- Dave Searle, Editor-in-Chief
Rider -- April 2005, page 32 -- Street Rod
"Swing a leg over the Street Rod and instead of a cruiser you'll be reminded more of a sporty standard, like a Suzuki Bandit or Yamaha FZ1." -- Mark Tuttle, Jr., Editor
