Magazine Articles:

Rider -- May 2007, page 38 -- Ready to Roll: 2007 Honda VTX1800T Tourer

"You can read the spec chart for the details on the engine, but simply put it is a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 52-degree V-twin, with finning there for looks. Each cylinder head has three valves actuated by a single overhead camshaft, the power passing through a five-speed gearbox and shaft final drive, and some 86 horses and 100 lb-ft of torque arrive at the rear wheel. This should be enough to to keep most riders very happy, as merging onto a freeway with speeding 18-wheelers bearing down at 80 mph is done easily, and with aplomb." -- Clement Salvadori, Contributor
