Magazine Articles:
Cycle World -- February 2008, page 30 -- Suzuki B-King: Ridin' with the King
"The incredible flexibility this engine offers was best illustrated in my ride along a 15-mile stretch of twisty mountain road while remaining in third gear the entire time. Strong acceleration off corners was always at hand, even when slowing to an indicated 40 mph at 3000 rpm. The middle cog offers a ton of headroom, too, with the digital LCD speedometer displaying 147 mph at redline -- even if actual speed was somewhat lower due to speedometer error." -- Don Canet, Road Test Editor
Motorcyclist -- January 2008, page 64 -- The Reigning Monarch of Naked Aggression: 2008 Suzuki B-King
"His Highness likes scratching up all manner of terrestrial twistie bits. Power, shall we say, is not a problem, though judicious applications of the stuff will a) light the rear Dunlop, b) lift the front one, c) stick you into that next corner quicker than an industrial-strength nail gun or d) all of the above. An indicated 160 mph arrives quicker than Officer Obie can read you your rights, assuming you can hang on that long." -- Tim Carrithers, Executive Editor
Rider -- February 2008, page 24 -- It's Good to B-King: 2008 Suzuki B-King
"I don't have the guts to nail the throttle on the B-King in any gear lower than third without leaning down way out over the headlight, and even then the front end gets light enough to make me thankful for the standard steering damper, a seemingly high-quality unit with a piggyback reservoir. Though its power delivery is very linear and the bike is surprisingly easy to ride, suffice it to say that your dreams of becoming an astronaut will be closer to reality than ever when you liftoff on the B-King." -- Mark Tuttle Jr., Editor
