• Yamaha Recalls 2015 FZ07 for Positive Battery Cable Problem
  There could be a short and a resulting fire.
  
  
• Honda Recalls 2014 Forza-NSS300, Forza-NSS300-A, and Grom 125 Motorcycles for Possible Fuel Pump Failure
  A fuel pump failure will cause the motorcycle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
  
  
• Triumph Recalls 2014-2015 Thunderbird, Thunderbird ABS, Tiger 800, Tiger 800 ABS, Thuxton, and Bonneville for a Situation Where the Engine Control Unit May Improperly Activate the Fuel Injectors
  Improper activation of the fuel injectors could cause the engine to unexpectedly lose power, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
  
  
• Yamaha Recalls 2014 YZF-R6 Motorcycles: The front and rear wheels may have been manufactured with insufficient hardness.
  The wheels may loosen and/or air may leak from around the tire bead. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.

I am reducing the price of my three Kindle editions to $0.0 (FREE) if you also first purchase the corresponding paperback edition. That way you can always have the book with you if you have a tablet or smartphone with you. None of the paperbacks has color pictures in them owing to the high price of producing a book with color. However, every Kindle edition has color pictures so the Getting Started Riding a Motorcycle and Motorcycle Haiku Poetry Kindle books are in full color.

Since the last Newsletter, the Polar Bear Grand Tour has completed two more runs: Hillbilly Hall in Hopewell, NJ and Appalachian Brewing Co. in Collegeville, PA. The Polar Bears consist of 550 riders from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware, who ride each Sunday to a different prescribed destination where they sign-in and receive points. There is, usually, a restaurant at or near the destination. It gets cold, windy, and snowy on these rides. I've been a Polar Bear member for more than 20 years, and I built and continue to maintain their website.

I was thumbing through the December 2014 issue of American Motorcyclist, the monthly magazine of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), and on page 35 I found a short article entitled "Put yourself in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum." I read that anyone can make a donation of $20, $80, or $180 to help support the museum and in return you can have a square on the wall in the entrance foyer with your name, logo, a picture, almost anything. I've been to the museum in Pickerington, Ohio and it's a great place to visit so I now have a 6-inch square on that wall (see picture).
