I just completed processing three great pictures of BMW motorcycles from 1978-1983 for my gallery: 81 Years of BMW Motorcycles. These were submitted by one owner in South Africa. He did all the restoration himself. Clicking on the picture will take you to the index page containing his '78, '81, and '83 motorcycles. Take a look at the complete gallery of pictures since 1923.

Audible is another Amazon company that is producing books you can listen to while you're driving or riding your motorcycle or anywhere else you don't have the option to read. I'm happy to be part of this new listening audience.

I am reducing the price of my three Kindle editions to $0.0 (FREE) if you also first purchase the corresponding paperback edition. That way you can always have the book with you if you have a tablet or smartphone with you. None of the paperbacks has color pictures in them owing to the high price of producing a book with color. However, every Kindle edition has color pictures so the Getting Started Riding a Motorcycle and Motorcycle Haiku Poetry Kindle books are in full color.

The Polar Bears consist of 550 riders from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware, who ride each Sunday to a different prescribed destination where they sign-in and receive points. There is, usually, a restaurant at or near the destination. It gets cold, windy, and snowy on these rides. I've been a Polar Bear member for more than 20 years, and I built and continue to maintain their website.

As I mentioned in the last issue of this Newsletter, I was thumbing through the December 2014 issue of American Motorcyclist, the monthly magazine of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), and on page 35 I found a short article entitled "Put yourself in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum." I read that anyone can make a donation of $20, $80, or $180 to help support the museum and in return you can have a square on the wall in the entrance foyer with your name, logo, a picture, almost anything. I've been to the museum in Pickerington, Ohio and it's a great place to visit so I now have a 6-inch square on that wall (see picture).
