29 Years of Honda Gold Wing: Gallery Picture of a 1979 Gold Wing

This is my 1979 Honda Gold Wing. The Wing had lots of chrome parts added such as timing belt cover, valve covers, spark plug covers, brake caliper covers plus numerous other parts. I added the luggage rack for touring. The bike had 42,454 miles on it when I sold it. I replaced the timing belts, radiator hoses, battery, all fluids and both tires when I first bought the bike. It still had the original ignition set up. The bike ran like a top except in higher elevations. Saw lots of great scenery from the back of the Wing. I wanted to keep it but couldn't negotiate having two touring bikes with the better-half. I still have and am looking at the Cycle Guide motorcycle magazine dated December 1974 that introduces the Honda Gold Wing Four. Paid 75 cents for the mag back in 1974 but the mag had very few colored pics. Wish I had kept all the old mags but only got room for so much stuff. -- Johnnie Gorthy
