29 Years of Honda Gold Wing: Gallery Picture of a 1997 Gold Wing

This is my 1997 Honda Gold Wing GL1500A. We purchased our bike back in April '97. I even helped assemble her when she came from the crate! It has been our pride and joy ever since. I freely admit to extreme anality when it comes to the care and maintenance of our "Big Green Girlfriend." In addition to the typical list of safety chrome and other shiny doodads and trinkets now on the bike, I am proud to say I, myself, with limited mechanical ability and even less patience, was successful in installing a 12-disc CD changer in the trunk and it has been an awesome addition to the enjoyment of this wonderful machine. While attending a GWRRA Region L Rally in Gander, Newfoundland in 1999, we took a spin up to Twillingate which is on the shore north of Gander. I think the red and green combination kind of puts one in the mind of Christmas! Newfoundland is a great place for an extended bike ride! -- Jeff & Trina Norman
