This was my 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200L. It was my first bike. I put 25,000 miles on her before I traded her in for an '09 Deluxe. She was such a fun motorcycle and I really would have loved to keep her but couldn't afford to have both. This is my 4th year riding my own and it really is a great experience, not that I didn't enjoy riding with my husband, that has its own intimacy, but it is a great feeling to be at the controls and feel the road beneath you.
I have daughters. One rides and the other just graduated college and would love to learn to ride so maybe this year we will get her to take the MSF Rider's course. -- Pauline
