Defect Summary:
On certain motorcycles, the clutch components could become loose while the motorcycle is being operated.
Consequence Summary:
If this happened, the components could exit through the engine casting increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Summary:
Dealers will install new clutch components free of charge. The recall is expected to begin during April 2006. Owners may contact BMW at 1-800-831-1117.
