Defect Summary:
On certain Road Star Warrior motorcycles, the lead wires for the pick-up coil can break while the engine is running, causing the engine to stall and be impossible to restart.
Consequence Summary:
If this occurs while the motorcycle is being ridden, a vehicle crash could occur.
Corrective Summary:
Dealers will replace the pick-up coil. The recall is expected to begin on or about February 26, 2007. Owners may contact Yamaha at 1-800-227-5963.
