Wild Motorcycle Tales

Here's a great story from Edeee2. Got your own story? Send it to me.

"Beet," a Diehard Biker

One thing about being a biker for many years is you see, hear, do things most motorcyclists don't.

Quite a number of years ago an acquaintance got hurt in an accident on his bike. "Beet" was as hard-core and as dirty an ole SOB as they come. Seen him in a juke-joint and he had a cast on his left leg, right arm, and stitches on his face and bruises. Said some club bros were putting his "Knuck" back on the road for him.

A few weeks later, I was at a biker event talking with friends and someone started shouting, "Beet's coming in." The group parted and in rode Beet on his Knuck.

Naturally Knucks are jock-shift and suicide clutched -- only way to ride. Several guys grabbed him as he stopped so he would not fall over.

How do ya ride in his condition? Easy! First you tie his left foot to the clutch pedal. Then loop a rope around his knee and tie it to the gas tank. Black-electrical-tape his hand to the throttle. Right leg was OK.

Tough diehard ole SOB for sure. He died of old age. --Edeee2
