My tat started as a name. My ex wrote his name, in his own hand, on a piece of paper, and the artist transferred it to my right chest. I lived it for a year or so, then added two butterflies on either side of the name. The first thing I did after our divorce was go to Bill, at Black Hills Tattoo! He transformed the name into a big beautiful purple rose, with the stem and leaves headed south quite a bit further to balance it out. Still gorgeous after all these years ... 15 to be exact. -- BEARKAT511
