Motorcycle User Reviews - 2005 Kawasaki Nomad 1600

I have owned my bike for a year now and it just has been great. The only problem I have had is during the cold months my battery dies to where I have to jump it. I will take it back to the dealer to find the problem.

I have placed over 24,000 miles on mine and there is no other bike that compares other than maybe the Gold Wing.

I have been in the mountains and have driven down the east coast and it handles and does what the bike is made for and that is cruising.

I put 20 lbs in the air shocks and it made a real difference in riding. It has been an awesome bike.

For you who don't think this bike can turn, let me tell you it can. You might scrape the floorboards doing it but it can turn and stop on a dime, to coin a phrase.

I have put the V&H on mine with the DFO and it sounds sometimes better than a Harley and I have ridden a few bikes in my 25 years of riding.

I have also noticed there is a leak in the antifreeze on the left side but I will get that fixed soon also. But that is the only problem I have had with this bike and I would recommend anyone getting one if you plan to move up. For the money and the ride as I said there is none to compare. -- C.M.
