Motorcycle User Reviews - 2006 Suzuki SV650S

motorcycle picture of a 2006 Suzuki SV650S

The SV650S is a great all-around bike, sporty but functional for street riding!

Do you want the sport bike look without extreme ergos? Do you want to blow by the liter bikes in the twisties with easy handling? Do you want fast acceleration and miles of smiles? But, you are NOT a trust fund baby ... This is the bike for you!

If you relate motor size to err ... sizes of certain organs ... then it's not for you. Sit on one, ride one if you can, it's a blast!

If you do buy one, and plan on track days or spirited street riding, I'd recommend changing out the stock tires and upgrading the front springs to Sonic Springs.

IF you prefer an upright standard riding position, Suzuki also makes the SV650 model with higher bars and lower pegs. It's not really comfortable for LONG touring, especially two-up but short trips two-up are fine. -- hsartteacher
