Motorcycle User Reviews - 2004 Suzuki VZ800 Marauder

In today's cruiser world, the 800cc Marauder seems like the best all round choice at the right price. Enough power for highway driving but light enough to be fun around town. I bought my 2004 VZ800 Marauder new in 2006 for about $5000.

What have I added, subtracted or changed since then? First addition was a tach. Then I wanted more power so I modified the stock filters and rejetted the carbs. I added a 16 tooth front sprocket, then a 17 tooth. Then came Spacer Jims forward controls for more leg room. A Mustang seat was added, then a homemade seat. Then Cobra slash tips exhaust was added. Different handlebars, risers, mirrors, headlight, blinkers front and rear came on the scene. I provided a new tail light bulb LED. A new Memphis Shades Fat windshield was added. I now have leatherlike hard saddlebags with quick detach brackets.

What's left to do? Replace the fork protectors, make a cover for the tail light, "paint" white letters on the sidewalls, remove pair valve ( Show your jugs) and the list goes on. -- Scrapper
