Motorcycle User Reviews - 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900

This is an amazing bike for the size. I have taken several long trips on the bike. Last year was 7296 miles thru the central, western and southern US. The bike performed excellently and will run with the big boys all day long. It averaged 49 mpg.

Besides the recalls, the stator went out on this year's trip up the east coast and across the bottom of the Great Lakes to North Dakota. This is unusual since the stator usually lasts forever. I am sure there will be a recall on this part because the dealer said this was the third one he has replaced on this model in the past four months.

Except for my stator problem, this has been an excellent bike and I would highly recommend it to anyone of small statue. -- Steve
