Move a Motorcycle Without Starting It

By Walter F. Kern

Release the Side Stand

If you left the motorcycle on the side stand in Step 3, you can now grasp the handlebars with both hands and pull the bike up to a vertical position. Then with your left foot (while balancing the bike on your right foot) kick the side stand back and up to its resting position. This is so you can now begin moving the motorcycle.
