I have begun updating my Makes and Models feature with 2017 motorcycle models. So far I have completed: Harley-Davidson, Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha.

With this newsletter, I have revised the Honda models (that were incomplete in the last newsletter) based on the latest information. See 2017 Honda Models.

I have also completed all the Kawasaki models for 2017. See 2017 Kawasaki Models.

Pictures of trikers and their 3-wheelers

More and more motorcycle trikes are being seen on the road. They are mainly being converted from Honda Gold Wing motorcycles although other makes such as Harley-Davidson are also being converted.

We present here a gallery of motorcycle trikes as submitted by visitors to the Motorcycle Views site. You will also see both my wife's trike and my trike in this gallery.

One of the biggest features on the Motorcycle Views site is Moto Pics, where visitors to the site can display and describe their motorcycles. There are some trikes in Moto Pics. To get the new gallery going, I have extracted these motorcycle trike pictures from Moto Pics.

I wanted you to know that I'm writing a memoir. I started thinking about this more than a year ago and have been writing almost fulltime on it for all of 2016. It covers much of my life and reveals some secrets that almost no one knows about me. In fact, many I didn't even know myself until recently.

You'll also find out how fate changed my course in life many times as I struggled to find out who I was, what I wanted to do, who I would love, how I came to become both a motorcyclist and a moto-journalist, and how I came to become an author in my seventies.

It's a story that begins in the Midwest and spans more than a hundred years. It's a true story and it's almost finished.

I had seven people reading it. So far the reviews have been very favorable. I should have the memoir available on Amazon by the end of the year. The Audible audiobook version will take longer.

The title of the memoir is Normal Secrets.

Haiku is a simple poem of three lines with five syllables in the first and last lines and seven in the second line. The Polar Bears consist of 550 riders from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware, who ride each Sunday to a different prescribed destination where they sign-in and receive points. There is, usually, a restaurant at or near the destination. It gets cold, windy, and snowy on these rides. I've been a Polar Bear member for more than 20 years, and I built and continue to maintain their website.

The picture to the right was taken at Hopewell, NJ.
