As Motorcycle Santa got off the Polar Express, his elves crowded around him. The elf known as Midnight spoke first.
"Motorcycle Santa, we all wanted to help fulfill a dream you had a year ago," said Midnight. "Remember when you told us you wished you could get a chopper like the one you'd seen on the TV show, American Chopper?"
"I remember," said Motorcycle Santa, "but we have to spend all our money buying materials to make our toys. We don't have much money left over."
"Well, we heard all about your trip and the new ideas you now have for toys," said Midnight. "We think that future Christmases will be even better than before. It's your dedication and energy that makes the Christmas Eve run possible. We also think you need to be able to get away for special times."
"I appreciate your kind words but I couldn't do it at all without the help of all the elves," said Motorcycle Santa. "But what's this all got to do with the chopper I was dreamin' about?"
Just then another elf skipped over to the garage door and lifted it, revealing the surprise.
"American Chopper built this chopper free just for you," said Midnight. It'll be on a January TV show."
It was the longest, baddest chopper Motorcycle Santa had ever seen. The pipes almost dragged on the ground and it had a flame paint job and big saddlebags for all his stuff. Even a little room for a few elves if they wanted to hitch a ride.
"Start 'er up!" said Midnight.
Motorcycle Santa couldn't believe his eyes. He took his coat off, put his leg over the seat, switched on the ignition, put it in neutral, and pushed the start button. "Vroom, vroom, vroom" it went as he twisted the throttle.
"I love that sound," said Motorcycle Santa. "Now I can throw all my energies into making next year's toys knowing I have my own special toy. Then he looked at the license plate. It read: "Special Times"
