Motorcycle Santa - Special Times

Motorcycle Santa was tired from the sledding and decided to go back in the house to warm up. He took off his coat again and placed it on the hall stand. Just then, he heard a scratching coming from the front door and went to investigate.

He slowly opened the door just a crack and around the edge of the door appeared two noses followed by two sets of glowing eyes. Two animals, a puppy and and a kitty, bounded into the foyer.

"What have we here?" said Motorcycle Santa. "The kids all came running in upon hearing their uncle's cries.

"What a cute puppy," said Caroline.

Connor ran over to the kitty and picked it up. "This one's mine," he said.

"Where's my animal?" said Ian. "I want a snake."

Motorcycle Santa then remembered that two of his own pets, Golden Boy and Gray Ears, had been messing around with his green bag while he was placing the toys in it that he was bringing on this trip. They must have climbed in the bag and fallen asleep at the bottom.

"Now kids, these are your uncle's own pets from the North Pole," Motorcycle Santa said. "I guess I've found another gift that would be very welcome for next year. They aren't toys though. You can't stuff them into a corner and forget about them. They need care and lots of love. I need a new Santa rule. I won't bring them to children unless I get letters from their parents saying that their children are responsible and will take good care of them."

"That's a good rule," said Connor. I'll be nine years old next year and I'll be much more responsible then. I hope you'll be bringing me a live present. I want a kitty just like Gray Ears, here in my arms."

Motorcycle Santa got the green bag and the two animals climbed back inside and got all cozy.
