Motorcycle Santa heard a faint cry from somewhere. Then it got louder.
Johnny Cellphone walked into the room with his wife, Sandy, on his arm. "Uncle, I told you my wife had been in the hospital," said Johnny Cellphone. "She had a baby girl and now they're both back home."
"Hi Motorcycle Santa," said Sandy. "Here's my new bundle of joy, Andi. She hasn't got to the all pink stage yet but she seems to be taking after her sister, Caroline, so it won't be long."
Both Johnny Cellphone and Sandy seemed like kids again as they made baby sounds and fussed over Andi. She was beautiful in her all-white gown.
"Want to hold her," Sandy asked Motorcycle Santa. "She may be our last baby. The family is just about the right size for us now. Four kids and four motorcycles are enough to keep us occupied."
Motorcycle Santa took the tiny baby, Andi, in his arms and looked lovingly in her eyes. "What a peaceful child," he thought.
"Children are the best part of Christmas," said Motorcycle Santa. "They hold so much hope for the future of mankind. They just have to fill their minds with knowledge and be taught to be responsible human beings. Then they need to learn how to get along with all kinds of people all over the world. It's a difficult job that all parents have to assume. I know you two will do your part and I will do my part. If only we could convince the rest of the world to do the same."
"I think I'll be leaving an extra present to each child next year. I'm going to whisper the words 'peace be with you' in every sleeping child's ear. Then, maybe, they will be peaceful children, just like Andi."
I've really learned a lot on this trip," said Motorcycle Santa. "And I'll be taking lots of ideas for new toys back to the North Pole. I'm still waiting to hear from my elves about their surprise for me. I wonder what it is?"
