Motorcycle Santa - Special Times

Motorcycle Santa walked into the den and sat down in a big overstuffed chair in front of a blazing fireplace. The kids were playing on the floor and baby Andi was with her parents on the couch.

"What's that on the mantel?" said Motorcycle Santa. "It looks like one of those old-fashioned snow globes." He remembered that he once made a big batch of snow globes and gave them to his closest friends. He worked long and hard to get all that snow in there.

"Well, I got it from you back in 1990," said Sandy. "The kids love it and it has a likeness of you in it with a few animals including a polar bear and a penguin. Of course, I know that penguins mainly live at the South Pole while polar bears live near you at the North Pole."

Motorcycle Santa got up from his chair, picked up the snow globe, and gently sat back down in the chair again. He turned the globe over and watched it fill with snow. Then he turned it right side up and watched it snow all over him and the animals.

"It makes me homesick," he said. "I've only been gone a few days yet I feel a need to get back to my work. And, I'm very curious about what the elves have in store for me. That surprise is getting to me. Would you mind terribly if I cut my trip short?"

"No problem Uncle," said Sandy and Johnny Cellphone, almost in unison.

"Listen Motorcycle Santa, I'll take you back to the train station in the morning," said Johnny Cellphone. "But you'll have to ride on the back of my bike again. No, wait. Why don't you ride the bike and I'll ride on the back?"

"That sounds real good to me," said Motorcycle Santa. "I'm itching to ride my old bike one more time."

The next day, Motorcycle Santa was on the Polar Express. His elves met him at the North Pole station, with a surprise.
