Motorcycle Museums

By Walter F. Kern

Checkout motorcycle museums that showcase classic, vintage, and antique motorcycles.

AMA - Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
The old Motorcycle Heritage Museum is being replaced on a new site with a new name. Take a look at the museum under construction.

Barber Museum
The Barber Museum, located in Birmingham, AL, has a huge collection of motorcycles displayed in multiple layered glass cases.

The Allen Vintage Motorcycle Museum
This is a private museum but you can make an appointment to visit. Web site contains beautifully displayed pictures of 21 bikes with some great views of the actual displays.

The Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum
Unlike other motorcycle museums, this one focuses on people. The pioneers of motorcycling are captured in photographs and biographies. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell is a trustee.

Wheels Through Time Museum
A consummate collection of over 250 rare antique American Motorcycles and Automobiles. Equally as astounding is the memorabilia collection that unites the "art of the motorcycle" with the generation of Americans that enjoyed a lifestyle peculiar to the "American Mainstream." Located in Maggie Valley, NC USA.
