58 Years of Indian Motorcycles: Picture of a 1999 Indian

This is my 1999 Indian Chief Ltd. Edition. "Thunderthud" is one of only 1100 produced during Indian's first year back in production. The standard black seat and saddlebags have been replaced with the newer Tan ones which complement the Maroon & Cream color combination. Also, a cross-over dual exhaust system replaces the stock one. Shown here in its solo rider format, the passenger seat and sissy bar available when needed. The short Windvest windshield has since been replaced by a full sized Indian windshield. -- Gerry Ashley
