Motorcycle Picture - 1980 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH1000

Motorcycle Picture of a 1980 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH1000

This is my 1980 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH 1000 that I have owned since new. Purchased on 12/23/1979, the bike was originally red, was painted black, stroked to 77 inches in 1981 and then further enlarged to 90 inches in 1986. The 1970 double bearing dry clutch came in 1987. This bike was built by the late Jimmy Hausler. It also has an S&S Super D Carb, Axtell barrels, Andrews C Box, PM Brakes and wheels and too much trick stuff to list. I will own this bike the rest of my life! -- Al Lucchino
