Defect Summary:
Ducati is recalling certain model year 2010 MTS 1200S motorcycles. In the event the driver should downshift or maneuver with the clutch disengaged and the engine at idle, the vehicle could stall.
Consequence Summary:
Stalling could increase the risk of crash.
Corrective Summary:
Dealers will re-flash the electronic control unit free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during January 2011. Owners may contact Ducati at 800-231-6696.
