Motorcycle User Reviews - 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD

I've owned this bike for two riding seasons in the Northeast. I am still having a great time and can't imagine getting rid of it. The parallel twin engine has a split personality. You can short shift the transmission and "lug" around town like the other cruisers or you can let the engine really spin and blow many much larger V-twins off the road. Narrow frame lets you really lean into turns. Super reliable and easy to maintain. I do keep a small amount of fuel stabilizer in at all times though-ethanol fuel and carburetors can be a problem. Have fun. -- Phil
