Motorcycle Trikes Picture - 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883 Custom Trike

Motorcycle trike picture of a 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883 Custom Trike

This is my 2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL883 Custom Trike. It was converted using US materials, i.e., rigid rear-axle with drum-brakes and chromed wheels carrying Hercules tyres of 295/50-R15, giving an overall width of 4'-10". Converted swing-arm fabricated in the UK. A mandatory fitting by law in Europe is a hand-brake (called emergency-brake in the US). Vance & Hines pipes supply the sound. Will require a conversion to 1200 as extra weight and large tyres too much for 883cc. As a solo bike 1100 miles completed in 4 years. In trike form, 1550 miles added in 4 weeks. Most fun vehicle I've ever owned and I've run a classic sports car for 35 years! -- Mike Abbott
